1.  VIVA! choristers: this Monday, May 14^th the videographer Mitch Fillion (www.southernsouls.ca) will be shooting a promotional video for Trinity-St. Paul’s Centre and VIVA!.  He will be documenting some behind-the-scenes, verite moments, so everyone should proceed about their business as usual.  Mitch will record rehearsals in the chapel, and will feature your music-making in the upcoming clips.  I look forward to sharing with you all via email and our website.

2. Tour Participants: thank you for submitting your passport copies!  Please remember that Monday, May 14^th is a tour rehearsal.

3.   We continue to fill up audition slots for June 9th.  If you would like to advance a choir or direct a friend to VIVA!, please contact me to arrange a time: 416-788-8482 or amy@vivayouthsingers.com.

4. Our SPRING CONCERT, Inspired by the Muses, will be held on the afternoon of June 3rd, 2012.  Please remember that our dress rehearsal will be held the day before, on June 2nd.  Each VIVA! family receives 5 tickets to the event, as covered by your tuition.  Please extend invitations to your family and friends!  We will be handing out flyers on Monday which I encourage you to post around your schools and neighbourhoods.

5. Advertisements are available in our concert programs for a very reasonable rate.  If you or anyone you know would be interested in posting, please let me know.  I’ve attached guidelines for your reference.

6. The online bidding for final silent auction items continues!: www.32auctions.com/viva. A reminder that these fabulous items, including the stay at the stunning Fox River Beach House, will be a available online until June 4th.

7. Attached is information about auditions for the 2012-2013 production of Benjamin Britten’s opera, Noye’s Fludde.  The opera is being presented by Trinity-St. Paul’s Centre for Faith, Justice and the Arts in association with VIVA!. Noye’s Fludde is a community production with a professional core, offering a unique and valuable opportunity for young singers.

1.   Main Choristers: please remember that we have a canstage recording this Monday.  There will be no theory, you will report directly to the recording space in the Sanctuary.  Call is 5:30, and sign out will be held at the usual time.

Please prepare your child (as we have) for the intensity of a recording situation.
